- This Customer Marketing Associate role reports to the Head of Marketing ANZ and is responsible for the support, socialisation, and execution of strategies to profitably grow revenue with key customers in partnership with key accounts.
- The position will partner with nominated key account customers to develop account joint business plans and will execute channel and customer strategies that positively impact customers as well as the shopping/purchase experience to grow sales, share and preference as a vendor, and their sell-through to customers.
- Management of events, industry and customer programs is part of this role along with the provision of support for the marketing team including PO management, identification, set up and management of external suppliers including agencies, conference and event organisations.
- In conjunction with Key Account Managers, you will design and execute strategies and tactics that drive revenue targets and support positive customer relationships.
- You will plan and monitor marketing key account investment within the allocated KAM and marketing OPEX budget and manage KAM events and programs within the allocated budget and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- You will facilitate, in partnership with key accounts, the channel annual account planning process to align account strategies and ensure cross-functional alignment on customer strategies and plans for new and existing products.
- You will partner with customers and KAM’s to create a meaningful customer business plan leveraging all available merchandising vehicles within the account.
- You will participate in and contribute to customer account business reviews, both internally and with customers and develop and track success metrics of account marketing programs, promotions, and activities, and recommend actions to optimise operating expense effectiveness and ROI.
- Minimum of 2 years in Marketing/Customer Marketing.
- FMCG/OTC consumer healthcare in pharmaceuticals/medical devices industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
- Hands-on go-getter, willing to roll up sleeves and personally act to drive success.
- Demonstrated experience designing and executing marketing programs that have achieved business objectives.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills; ability to manage, influence diverse, remote, and cross-functional teams inside & outside of the organisation.
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills. Prior experience developing and presenting trade presentations and account planning tools and templates.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply these to commercial objectives.
- Experience in managing advertising, promotion, and marketing vendors including external agencies.
- Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Tableau.
- Full Australian working rights with experience in the Australian marketplace.
