WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND GROW
  • This Territory Manager, Melbourne based position will manage a government and medical customer base.
  • You will be responsible for growing existing customer relationships, driving sales, and securing new business opportunities in a long‑cycle, highly technical sales environment.
  • You will have full responsibility for growing the business and delivering on sales targets for your region and nurturing a sales pipeline to build strong commercial relationships.
  • You will identify, develop and convert sales opportunities and work collaboratively as part of a close‑knit team in a fast‑paced manufacturing and distribution environment.
  • You will provide exceptional customer service and support, while working closely with internal teams including Design, R&D and Operations.
WHAT QUALS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
  • Industry background in paramedicine (you might have been or be a paramedic now), medtech, biotech, emergency response or science.
  • Experience with technical products and demonstrated ability to work autonomously with strong self‑motivation, you must be a self-starter.
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and strong English communication and active listening skills with adaptable interpersonal style.
  • Understanding of value‑based selling and customer motivators.
  • Quick and continuous learner with strong system‑adoption capability.
  • A “hunter” approach to finding new opportunities in existing customers as well as new customers.
  • Experience using CRM/sales software tools to track the BD cycle.
  • Curious and positive, solutions‑focused mindset with good attention to detail.
  • Ideally experience with government tenders and preparing tender responses (but this is not mandatory).
  • A full Victorian drivers’ licence with working rights for Australia.
