- This company is looking for an Account Manager to manage a territory in metro Brisbane to Sunshine Coast. This role’s primary purpose is to drive sales and achieve sales revenue and market share targets by promoting defined products to key hospital specialists and technical staff, while also delivering exceptional customer service.
- Developing and implementing an ongoing sales plan to penetrate the market while achieving sales objectives is key to this role.
- You will target and develop new account opportunities while servicing current customers through supporting case coverage in the operating theatre.
- You will provide effective and timely response to customer enquiries, resolve customer problems, produce quotations, maintain equipment, undertake stocktakes, maintain accurate records via a CRM, and initiate and conduct targeted regular sales appointments with surgeons, nurses, support staff and supply departments.
- You will prepare proposals and presentations based on the customer’s product and service requirements and contribute to tender processes.
- You will liaise with customer service and the warehouse in regards to stock and manage loan equipment movements and consignment stock and agreements.
- A minimum of 3 years current or very recent sales experience in medical devices with operating theatre experience, providing case support to surgeons ideally, and capital sales experience preferred but NOT mandatory, along with tertiary qualifications in nursing, science or allied health (preferred), with a solid understanding of the Queensland/Brisbane hospital landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels verbally and in writing with the demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with co-workers, customers and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and deliver excellent customer service.
- Proficient computer literacy and must possess a valid and current driver’s license.
- Strong ability to influence and negotiate successfully.
- Willingness and ability to learn and impart technical information.
