THE OPPORTUNITY, WHAT YOU WILL LEAD & GROW
  • This VIC West Territory Manager sales role is part of a regional sales team. The role promotes and sells medical equipment within a specific, geographical territory, increasing market share and penetration, whilst maintaining favourable client relations.
  • The position will deliver the company’s customer-value-proposition by providing timely and expert customer advice and efficient after-sales support while efficiently project-managing the sales, delivery and installation process, in conjunction with a technical service and sales team.
  • The role is responsible for profitably achieving a sales budget and ensuring prompt customer payment, along with supporting the company’s customer-satisfaction goals.
  • You will develop a written plan to meet your annual sales budget and carry out formal presentations of products, attend exhibitions and help organise promotional events.
  • You will also develop and manage a program of customer visits to all major potential buyers, determining their needs and demonstrating products; including technical descriptions and their application and you will maintain a CRM database.
  • You will constantly develop and update your knowledge of the company’s and competitors' products and communicate with other people in the sales and marketing teams to work out the best methods of promoting products.
  • You will quote and negotiate prices, prepare contracts and record orders.
  • You will provide after-sales support, such as applications and maintenance training.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Ideally you will have a relevant degree or certificate, science or healthcare related.
  • You will have demonstrated experience in a similar sale role in the medical device industry OR you might be a dental practice manager used to upselling expensive dental treatments, looking to move into healthcare sales.
  • You will have a solid understanding of the sales process with a high level of personal drive and motivation with the maturity of judgement and discretion and the capacity to operate independently.
  • You will have excellent English written and verbal communication skills and be a permanent resident or citizen of Australia.
  • You will have intermediate to advanced level computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • You will have the ability to effectively communicate features and benefits of complex technical products including related software solutions to customers.
