- This Territory Manager role will partner with existing customers as well as establish new relationships with both public and private hospitals selling this companies automated Medication Management solutions.
- The customers this person will target include end users to C Suite - so Directors of Pharmacy, Medication Management Pharmacists, IT and Procurement.
- The role will be responsible for developing as well as nurturing customer relationships across NSW & ACT.
- The position will develop and execute account strategies and plans aligned to an extended sales cycle (ie capital equipment). You will serve as the customer point of contact for technical related queries and in alignment with the business strategy, provide product training, clinical procedure training and technical assistance to customers.
- You will tailor, plan for and coordinate education programs to meet individual customer requirements to support product trials and implementations and engage internal and external stakeholders to deliver on plan.
- You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of market innovation across Medication Management, including emerging competitor technology and maintain comprehensive applications/technical knowledge of customer practices, to provide technical consultation to the customer, offering a tailored solution to accelerate the adoption of your products.
- Proven track record of success in capital equipment sales in the medical device industry with a technical orientation (part of the team include Product Specialists who are technical experts - you will manage the customer relationship and the sales solution, with the benefit of being able to access technical know how where necessary).
- Candidates from backgrounds in Patient monitoring, Medical Imaging or anaesthesia will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and achieve sales targets, you will not be afraid of new business development.
- Experience in technical selling, including understanding complex products and effectively communicating their value proposition to customers.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to navigate extended sales cycles and close deals.
- Ideally you will understand the importance of having automated delivery and storage of medication in hospitals in terms of patient safety, medication accuracy and delivery (ie receiving the right medication at the right time).
- You will have full Australian working rights and be vaccinated against COVID-19.
