WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND BUILD 
  • As the Retail Business Development Manager based in Sydney, you will lead the performance, growth and customer experience of a six-site retail network across NSW and the ACT.
  • You will develop and execute customer acquisition, adherence and retention strategies to drive sustainable business growth.
  • You will build and strengthen referral relationships with GPs, sleep physicians, respiratory specialists and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • You will coach, mentor and develop store managers and teams, creating a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
  • You will identify and deliver retail growth opportunities, including new store openings, network expansion and business development initiatives.
  • You will analyse sales and operational data, establish KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance and patient outcomes.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in retail management, multi-site leadership, business development or a related commercial leadership role.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience building referral networks and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing, KPI-driven teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse sales and operational data and translate insights into action.
  • Healthcare, medical device, sleep health or other patient-focused industry experience highly regarded.
  • Understanding of healthcare referral pathways and the patient journey is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the Australian healthcare funding landscape, including Private Health Insurance, DVA and NDIS, is desirable.
  • Full working rights for Australia and a current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel regularly across NSW and the ACT.
