- Reporting to the US-based Vice President of Marketing, this role will lead global product strategy and portfolio direction for this orthopaedic business while also owning downstream commercial execution across international markets including Australia.
- You will operate with end-to-end responsibility across the product lifecycle, combining strategic vision with hands-on leadership and market execution.
- This role will function as a business owner with management accountability.
- You will drive upstream product strategy from market insight through concept development, clinical claims, and launch readiness.
- You will identify unmet clinical needs and translate surgeon feedback into actionable product requirements and build differentiated positioning, pricing frameworks, segmentation strategies, and value propositions.
- You will develop and execute long-term portfolio growth plans and product roadmaps aligned with company strategy and partner closely with R&D, regulatory, clinical, sales, and operations teams to bring products to market.
- You will act as the customer advocate throughout the new product development process and lead global and regional product launches across US and international markets.
- You will support commercial teams with training, messaging, and go-to-market execution.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience across sales and product management within surgical medical devices/orthopaedics, with exposure to the US market (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of regulatory pathways, quality systems, and reimbursement considerations for Class I–III medical devices.
- At least 3 years’ experience in upstream marketing or product development roles with the proven ability to operate in fast-moving, entrepreneurial or start-up environments.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering commercially successful product launches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing (theatre preferred, especially in orthopaedics), Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Exposure to health economics, reimbursement strategy or market access highly valued.
- Strong analytical capability with experience in commercial modelling, forecasting, and data tools.
