- You will play a key role in supporting product adoption, delivering clinical education, and influencing positive commercial outcomes through strong stakeholder engagement and clinical credibility.
- Based in Sydney, this role will support hospital staff including surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses across New South Wales, with travel to Melbourne approximately twice per month for two-day trips.
- As the Clinical Specialist, you will be the clinical expert supporting clinicians and broader perioperative teams in the use of innovative products during surgical procedures.
- You will provide hands-on clinical support in theatre, deliver product education and training, and act as a trusted clinical partner to both customers and the commercial team.
- While not a sales role, your ability to build rapport, influence clinicians, and support the sales process will be highly valued.
- Provide in-theatre clinical support during procedures.
- Educate and train surgeons, theatre nurses, anaesthetists, and clinical staff on product use and best practice.
- Deliver product demonstrations, in-services, and clinical education sessions.
- Support product evaluations, trials, and onboarding of new accounts.
- Partner closely with the sales team to support product adoption and account growth.
- Build strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders across hospital networks.
- Act as the clinical voice of the customer, providing market feedback and insights.
- Ensure a high standard of clinical knowledge, professionalism, and customer engagement.
- Travel regularly across Sydney and to Melbourne twice monthly.
- Registered Nurse with operating theatre / perioperative experience ideally.
- Alternatively, experience in a Clinical Specialist role within MedTech providing case support.
- Strong clinical presence and confidence working in the operating theatre.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commercially aware with the ability to positively influence the sales process.
- Confident, engaging, and personable with strong relationship-building ability.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Based in Sydney and willing to travel to Melbourne twice a month for 2 days at a time.
