WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING EACH DAY
  • This Clinical Educator role based in Brisbane, covers the whole of Qld, however, with the majority of activity in Brisbane and immediate surrounds, Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast, with occasional travel to Townsville and Cairns.
  • The position involves providing clinical guidance to surgical customers, via case support in theatre as well as education and in-servicing in clinical settings. The role heavily involves maintaining and building customer relationships by providing excellent field and product support in a hospital environment.
  • The role works very closely with Territory Managers (sales) to support specific territories, hospitals and regional areas to promote all the company’s surgical products to meet established sales objectives and goals.
  • You will provide surgical procedure and technical product support in surgery as well as ongoing customer service and identify new business growth opportunities and develop business in the current customer portfolio.
  • You will identify customer needs, deliver ongoing market analysis, market intelligence and competition assessment and attend cases, sales calls with sales as required, build rapport, communicate technical products and operations programs to surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, hospital administration, health-care providers, and others as needed.
  • You will address customer concerns and escalate calls that require manager involvement and assist with various sales activities as needed.
WHAT EXPERIENCE/SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
  • Be comfortable in an operating theatre/surgical field.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and simplify highly technical or scientific concepts when communicating to others.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and listening skills.
  • Highly organised, excellent time management and customer service skills.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • As this position requires driving during the workday, a valid driving license and satisfactory driving record, as well as a serviceable vehicle available for work use is mandatory (a car allowance is included in the salary package).
  • Travel as necessary, which may include 20-30% overnight travel to support regional and interstate customers.
