WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND GROW
  • Ideally based in Wellington or Auckland, this Clinical Applications Specialist - Ultrasound role is responsible for pre-and post-sales customer support of medical technology products and their applications.
  • Working closely with the sales team you will support the sales function to assist them with their hospital and clinic customers to provide exceptional customer service and education.
  • You will provide product demonstration support in hospitals, clinics, private offices, and other medical facilities, or via online platforms and deliver post-sales installation training and customer retention activities.
  • You will support trade show and other marketing activities when required and provide feedback to marketing from the field and other relevant market intel to help marketing with strategic planning.
WHAT QUALS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
  • Minimum 2-year degree from an accredited ultrasound teaching institute or DMU or equivalent with AMS with ASAR.
  • Minimum 2 years  post graduate related work experience, operating duplex ultrasound equipment in a clinical (hospital, lab, clinic) setting, with cardiac, MSK, vascular and general experience.
  • Ability to travel 90% of the time where required. Predominantly within New Zealand, but overseas travel may be required – weekend or evening hours may also be required.
  • Ability to lift 20Kg with or without accommodations.
  • MS Office software skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ultrasound teaching experience is preferable.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision in an environment that requires strong teamwork and cross-functional interaction.
  • Demonstrated professional skills necessary to manage interpersonal relationships with team members, colleagues and customers.
